Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our mobile loyalty application ("the App"), operated by GibFuel+ on behalf of Cepsa (Gibraltar) Limited and its subsidiaries (“CepsaGib”). These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern your use of the App and participation in our loyalty program. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these T&Cs. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

Customers must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm, warrant and represent that you meet this age requirement.

  1. Account Registration

To participate in the loyalty program, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary. 

  1. Personal Data 

By using the App you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data by CepsaGib and their authorised third-party agents and licensees in accordance with the our Privacy Policy.

  1. Participating locations

Customers will only be able to use the App to collect points, redeem coupons and use coupons for their purchases at the following locations:

a) Kingsway Petrol Station – 6 Kingsway, Gibraltar.

b) Yacht Terminal - 1C Waterport, Gibraltar.

c) Sundial Petrol Station – 19, Devil’s Tower Road, Gibraltar.

d) Queensway Petrol Station – 2 Queensway, Gibraltar.

e) Rosia Road Petrol Station – 24 Rosia Road, Gibraltar.

 

  1. Earning points

Customers can earn points through transactions and events:

5.1 Transactions: Customers will receive 15 points for every £1 spent.

 

5.1.1 Non-qualifying products include tobacco, alcohol (spirits), and lottery tickets (“Non-Qualifying Products”).

5.1.2 CepsaGib reserves the right to add or remove products from the list of Non-Qualifying Products at any time. Any such changes shall be reflected in these T&Cs.


5.2 Events: Customers will earn the following points for specific actions:

5.2.1 Welcome Badge (1000 points)

  • Signing up for the loyalty program: 200 points

  • Downloading the App: 50 points

  • Granting permission to receive emails: 250 points

  • Completing full registration: 500 points

Customers do not need to achieve all 4 activities before being granted points. 

5.2.2 Loyal Customer Badge (1000 points)

Customers can earn a Loyal Customer Badge by completing five transactions, each worth £30 or more.


5.3 Points are non-transferable between customers.


5.4 Customers who have signed up to the App must present their App at checkout in order to accumulate points. 


5.5 CepsaGib is entitled to remove points from customers’ accounts at any time in the event that products are returned for any reason and a full or partial refund of the purchase price is given. This also applies to the exchange of products, unless the exchange is for products with an equivalent points value. 


5.6 Points awarded to customers at the time of transactions or coupons already issued may be removed or cancelled at the absolute discretion of CepsaGib if CepsaGib determine that the points were collected in breach of these T&Cs or if they were awarded in error or if there exists any other reason why the redemption of said points would be unreasonable or undesirable. For the avoidance of doubt, any advice or actions of CepsaGib staff that may be contrary to these T&Cs will not have the effect of changing these T&Cs.


5.7 CepsaGib is under no obligation to award points for any reason outside qualifying transactions or events.


  1. Points Expiration

Points will expire 12 months after your last balance update. It is your responsibility to monitor your points balance and ensure you use your points before they expire.


  1. Redeeming points for Coupons

Points can be redeemed for coupons that provide discounts on purchases, including fuel and shop items and excluding Non-Qualifying Products. The current conversion rates are as follows:

  • 5,000 points = £5 discount;

  • 9,750 points = £10 discount; 

  • 19,000 points = £20 discount; and

  • 45,000 points = £50 discount.


7.1. Points have no value until converted into coupons. 


7.2. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash and must be presented at the time of purchase.


  1. Use of the App

You agree to use the App in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will not:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.

  • Disrupt or interfere with the App's security, integrity, or performance.

  • Use automated means to access the App.


  1. Termination

    9.1. CepsaGib is entitled to terminate a customer’s participation on the App in the event that the customer is acting in contrary to these T&Cs or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, in these circumstances, CepsaGib is not required to first warn the customer of the termination nor explain to the customer the reason behind the decision to terminate.

    9.2 Customers are able to terminate their participation on the App by deleting their account at any time.


  1. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property within the App are owned by or licensed to CepsaGib. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any content in the App without the express written permission of CepsaGib.


  1. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as-is" basis. While we strive to ensure the App functions as intended, we make no warranties regarding the operation of the App or the information provided. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.


  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CepsaGib is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.


13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CepsaGib and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these T&Cs, or violation of any rights of another party.


  1. Changes to T&Cs 

We reserve the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new T&Cs on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the new T&Cs.


  1. Governing Law

These T&Cs shall be governed by the laws of Gibraltar, without regard to its conflicts of laws rules. The Supreme Court of Gibraltar shall have exclusive jurisdiction in connection with any disputes arising out of the use of the App and/or in any way related to the use of the App to these T&Cs.
